Neurolink Tre'Shon 06/03/2024 12:08 PM
The neurolink is one of the best ideas because with this invention people who are disabled will be able to opeerate things they normally wouldn't be able to. With this invention it aims to give those with paralysis the ability to control their devices, including their smartphone, using just their thoughts, and it is currently being trialled to test the functionality of its interface and the surgical robot used to implant the chips, having received approval in the US to test the chip on humans.

Misinformation in AI images MrTwix 05/31/2024 11:44 AM
https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-n...-surged-google-research-finds-rcna154333

I think this is crazy that we are still making these simple mistakes. I honestly think its beacuse of the meme community. When a meme goes viral, ai might not be able to understand the humor of it.

Neuralink's first brain implant patient feared device would have Drwatson 05/29/2024 1:45 PM
The first patient for the Neuralink has successfully came out of surgery and he has made great progress. He can now "control a computer just like anyone else can, which is not something I was able to do beforehand," However, he has had small complications with the Neuralink, with some of the cords coming off the brain. Thankfully, doctors were able to fix the problem.

AI products like ChatGPT much hyped but not much used, study says Dreboi 05/29/2024 1:32 PM
While people say chatting with AI is the future, not many people use it on a daily basis. A study has shown that 2% of people of 16,000 use chat GPT on a daily basis. Though not used often, many of the users are young, from 18 to 24. One problem may be that AI is sometimes confedently incorrect. People still belive AI will get better in the next five years which will give them a better reason to use it.

The New Rise of Pop Punk Pippa 05/29/2024 1:22 PM
https://www.campustimes.org/2022/04/03/is-pop-punk-cool-again/

This article is showing that pop punk is back on the rise and a lot of artists new albums are going heavy. This is cool to me because pop punk has been dead for almost ten years now and needs to make another comeback. I also like the fact that a lot of ppunk bands from back then are getting back together and making new music, even if it is bad. As this being one of my favorite genres this makes me happy to know that people are also being educated on it because of social media and expanding their music tastes.

Why OpenAI should fear a Scarlett Johnansson lawsuit gigi24 05/29/2024 1:15 PM
It never used Johansson's actual voice and that its videos weren't advertisements, OpenAi could also say it never intended to precisely mimic Johansson. But there's substantial case law - and one very inconvenient fact for OpenAI - undercutting that defense, legal experts say.

Re: Google Meet VS Zoom Susana 05/28/2024 12:20 PM
Zoom's security risk is considered to be lower than Google Meet due to its robust security measures and frequent updates. Zoom has implemented end-to-end encryption for all meetings, which ensures that the communication remains secure and inaccessible to unauthorized parties. Additionally, Zoom has been proactive in addressing security concerns by introducing features such as meeting passwords and waiting rooms to prevent unauthorized access. These measures contribute to making Zoom a secure platform for virtual meetings and collaboration. Zoom is superior to Google Meet due to its extensive range of interactive features, such as virtual backgrounds and breakout rooms, making meetings significantly more engaging. Furthermore, Zoom's free version boasts a longer time limit for group meetings compared to Google Meet.
