rocket lab seth walker 01/31/2023 12:06 AM
https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/25/world/rocket-lab-us-launch-virginia-scn/index.html

Rocket Lab had its first successful launch at 6PM on January 24, 2023 at Wallops Virginia. They launched a 60 ft rocket caring 3 small satelites to orbit for HawkEye 360 company. This is a light weight launch vehicle for small cargo. They chose Wallops as their second site for launches due to its history as one of the oldest launch sites in the world and its availability to build a manufacturing complex close to Wallops.

I think this is a great thing to have on the Eastern Shore with lots of opportunities for advancement.

How antidepressants help bacteria resist antibiotics. gigi24 01/29/2023 12:30 AM
This article is about antidepressants might contribute to antibiotic resistance, alongside antibiotics overuse. In a laboratory study, five common antidepressants increased the mutation rate of Escherichia coli and triggered cellular defense mechanisms that make the bacteria better able to survive subsequent antibiotic treatment.

Quantum Computer Maneyien 01/12/2023 2:36 PM
Researchers have demonstrated an architecture that can enable high fidelity and scalable communication between superconducting quantum processors. Their technique can generate and route photons, which carry quantum information, in a user-specified direction. This method could be used to develop a large-scale network of quantum processors that could efficiently communicate with one another.

At amazon, they use machines to organize where there products go. These machines are very high-tech and can do very complex things. For example, if there is object in the way where they cant place the item, they will move it out of the way

gravity from a cosmological scale zayzay 01/09/2023 4:59 PM
what I've learn from it that these cosmologist wanted to reassure about what Albert Einstein made at it was the study of gravity well they retraced his steps from outerspace to see if its accurate and it was which is pretty impressive from not having modern technology now and they measured the gravity around them pretty much cosmic expansion it becomes hubble tension from the measurements which is not good so how they fix it was by altering the relationship between matter and spacetime, and studied how they can constrain deviations from the prediction of General Relativity. They said that the results were promising but we're still a long way off a solution.
