Due to recent events following the 60 tornados hitting in the areas of Kansa's, Denver, Omaha, Minneapolis, Sioux falls and Rapid city, I came across this article of engineers are starting to build structures revolving around holding ground against category 2 or more disasters.
Their homes and structures not well prepared for strong storms fail to protect others which is the cause of casualties, and due to this recent /rare/ tragedy officials are taking matters into their own hands for the near future.
