The legal battle between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Epic Games and Fortnite has concluded awhile ago as epic games paid 500 million dollars to the FTC due to tricking players into making unintended purchases. As of right now, the FTC is going to give 245 million dollars to players and parents who were affected by this via email. Players who have been contacted by the FTC have until January of 2024 to submit a request to get money back. Additionally, players will not lose anything in game when submitting a refund request.
