Fed Ex has started using a robot that helps load packages into delivery trucks. The new robot aims to use artificial intelligence to stack rows of differently sized boxes inside a delivery truck as efficiently as possible, attempting to maximize how many will fit. I'm not sure how they do it or how the robots are programmed, but I find this really cool because people tend to order lots of packages that can be really big or heavy, so I agree that this robot is helpful. Not necessarily for the rest of the world, but just for Fed Ex workers.
