I have changed my mind. I now pick making them tell on themselves. Because I wouldn't let an innocent man go to jail for my friend's mess.

I would encourage my friend to confess because one; he can't sleep, probably because he's being haunted by doing the crime. two; so the person that was accidentally arrested can be free and my friend can face the consequences of his actions. If he doesn't confess, I'll take matter of my own hands and tell the police what he did. (I think he would admit first because he'll be overwhelmed if he doesn't.)

I wouldn't say anything because if its a trusted friend and I dont know the other person why should I care what happens to the other person, and on top of all of that i would try to get myself out of the whole thing.

it all really depends on the crime and the reason why. but I wouldn't rat on my friend like that I would recommend for them to confess bc of the innocent person that is in there.

I would go to the police and tell them what happened and let my friend explain his wrong doings to fix this crazy problem.

It honestly depends on what crime they committed because something like stealing I wouldn't say anything but if it was more serious like murder then I would try to convince them to turn themselves in so the innocent guy can be free.

I'm going to tell the police because, if i don't tell them nothing then they are going to suspect me as being with him on this and then i'm going to jail too

I would tell my friend to turn themselves in and if not I would tell because an innocent person would be in jail for no reason and they should own up to them being wrong.

I wouldn't tell on my friend they confided in me and to break their trust would be upsetting
