The problem: The DaVinci Mini 3d Printer uses a propietary spool that uses NFC to let the printer how much filament is left.

At first, I tried to hack the NFC chip, but that isn't really a solution..more of a work around.

Now, I'd like to strip it down, and convert it into a more compatible printer. A few links to start my research:
