Astronomers have recently discovered a low-mass black hole that does not emit any radiation. With new technology Dr. Song Wang, the lead author of the study from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, talks about how we knew these types of black holes might exist, but we just didn't have the technology. But now we do have the right tools to find these objects.
