i chose this article because i am interested in drones the article was about how Walmart is piloting a new project with drones they are using drones to deliver packages to their customers

[Linked Image]Neat! I heard about Amazon testing out drone delivery. Here's an article about Daytona Beach, FL. Amazon is hoping to start using drones there soon.

I think that drone shipping may be practical in areas close to the large shipping centers like amazon. I don't think we will see any of that on the Eastern Shore other than maybe walmart in a few years. But even so, the range of the drones are limited by battery life, load, and enviromental factors. It is a very cool concept though!!

Check this link out. The FAA has cleared Amazon to use out-of-business storefronts, like JC Penny's to help fulfill orders. I wonder if these "Mall" warehouses wouldn't be a good starting point for drone deliveries. Fascinating to be sure!
