i agree, kids might try to be sneaky and play games on the device instead of what they are supposed to be doing.

Disagreed, children are more attracted to electronics and if being on a smart phone with learning features it'll interest them.

I think it can help kids learn if they are monitored and given instruction but it should be not be used as a babysitter or to keep the kids occupied. It can help them learn hand eye coordination and with solving problems. So I guess I think it can be helpful but it should be limited and done with instruction from an adult or teacher.

Well, I guess now that we're all at home, and the only way we have to access school is through an electronic device...oh the irony of this whole discussion now! Its funny how life works sometimes!

I disagree, there are educational programs that help you understand things better.

I disagree, electronic devices have been shown to help keep students engaged and focused in a classroom environment

What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree? Disagree? Why? Why not? Remember, this isn't talking about personal devices, it's talking about devices that are used in the classroom.

I disagree with this because brighter images and more interaction with technology make kids focus. It also makes them more connected with the class. When technology pushes kids to interact and click on buttons and stuff and they start participating, their brains work more thus retaining more information and knowledge.
