On Jan 5, 2022, BMW revealed the all new BMW IX M60 at CES, and is an all-electric SUV. Sounds just like a Tesla right? However, it has a trick up its sleeves. It uses a product called E-Ink, the same thing the Amazon Kindle E-readers use to change the color of your car. With E-Ink technology, tiny microcapsules are suspended in a liquid that is encased within a film layer. The microcapsules, which are roughly the width of a human hair, contain positively charged white particles and negatively charged black particles. When a negative charge is applied, the white particles float to the surface, and when a positive charge is applied, the black particles float to the top, displaying an ink-like pattern to display text. BMW is using this technology on the body of this car to allow you to change the color of your car from black to white or gray with a push of a button. This could prove useful to get rid of your 5 star wanted level.
